Dr. Birchansky
Dr. Lee Birchansky, M.D., A.B.E.S.
Fox Eye Laser &Cosmetic Institute was founded
by Dr. Lee Birchansky in 1991. We are committed to providing high
quality comprehensive surgical care in a non-hospital setting.
We are well known for "setting the standards for excellence".
Dr. Birchansky was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He attended
the University of Miami School of Medicine. In 1985, he graduated
with high honors from medical school. He is a member of the prestigious
Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
Dr. Birchansky completed his internal medicine internship
in Orlando, Florida. In 1986, he moved to Iowa where he completed
his residency at the world-renowned Department of Ophthalmology at University
of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He enjoyed the quality of life
and the genuine people of Iowa, so he stayed here to practice and became
an Iowan!
Dr. Birchansky received board certification from the American Board
of Ophthalmology in 1991. He received further board certification
in LASIK and Cataract and Lens Implant Surgery from the American Board
of Eye Surgery (A.B.E.S.). Thus, the initials after his
name.
Fox Eye is dedicated to remaining at the forefront of technology.
Our primary responsibility is to our patients who place their trust
in us and seek our care. We rely heavily on word of mouth referrals
for new patients. Our reputation is extremely important to us.
We strive to give you the best experience possible.
Many of our innovations in cataract surgery have become the standard of care nationwide. Since the introduction of No-Stitch cataract surgery in 1991, Dr. Birchansky has performed over 12,000 with high patient satisfaction.
