Wavefront Optimization The ALLEGRETTO WAVE laser system is the only laser that uses a Wavefront Optimized® approach to customize each patient's treatment to their individual prescription and corneal shape. The ALLEGRETTO WAVE laser system corrects your eye's prescription with the objective of maintaining a natural post-operative corneal shape. Laser Speed The ALLEGRETTO WAVE ® Eye-Q works with a pulse frequency of 400 Hz, which means it reshapes the cornea at 400 laser pulses per second, being the most efficient laser available in the country. Correction time takes a matter of seconds for each eye. Laser speed is important because it increases outcome predictability and reduces the chance of postoperative complications.
